It seems like ages since we brandished a preserving pan in anger!
Returning to our pre pandemic pattern, we started our season with a visit to the St Richards Festival in Droitwich and then set off on a six week watery wander, this time visiting some of the waterways in the north west including the Llandollen with its soaring aqueducts, the secretive Montgomery Branch and also the mighty Weaver Navigation accessed via the huge Anderton Boat Lift.
During this time we focus more on travel than sales, but with the eye catching Jam Butty always with us, its notoriety means we have a steady trickle of preserve enthusiasts wanting to buy our wares.
From Anderson we head south again, aiming for an event in early July in Coventry, plus all the village stops listed in the Location tab.
As we travel the changing seasons are vere apparent and only this week the Elderflower has come into full bloom - time to scurry home and make some Gooseberry and Elderflower Jam I think!
